Voice mode preferences for this browser

Screen access

How Cody asks for permission to see your screen when you open voice mode. Frames are only captured when you specifically ask Cody to look — never in the background.

Auto-prompt

Browser picker opens as soon as you start voice mode. Faster — one click to grant.

Only when I click Share

Voice mode opens without asking. You explicitly click the Share button in the overlay when you want Cody to see your screen.

You haven't seen the first-time explainer yet — it'll appear the next time you open voice mode.

Mini overlay when you switch tabs

Picture-in-Picture requires Chrome or Edge. Safari and Firefox don't support this yet — voice mode stays inside the codyiq tab in those browsers.
